When they arrived I actually thought they would be too big for the initial project I bought them for, but I still managed to use them because the clamp surface has a nifty swivel design, allowing me to swivel just enough for it to fit the corners I needed to clamp.

I've had poor experience with other 90 clamps not being very accurate; but these feel solid, and I had pretty high confidence in its ability to hold things true.

   I was unaware that the clamps swiveled in such a fashion to allow for additional applications. I thought they merely clamped down on the corner of a 90 deg. angle with matching sizes, but they can do much more than that. Since they swivel, you can easily use them to join two different thicknesses of wood. These are way more versatile and robust than I originally thought and well worth the cost. I'll buy two more when I can afford them to clamp glue custom made frames without having to wait and switch out two corners after drying.

You need two clamps for the jobs I have used the clamps for. I will end up purchasing 4 clamps to speed up the production process. The Clamps are easy to store, light, and well built. Great item.

   Wish I had purchased the screwdriver handle unfinished clamps instead. These slide pins are annoying because they slide down and snag on the work surface (clamp holes, plastic protection drape, etc) while setting it up or if you have to move it after. Paint comes off easily if you get any glue on it and have to remove it. They are cheap however for a set of 4 so I gave them one more star despite merely acceptable performance. At least they seem to be square.

   This is heavy and reliable to get corners right. I used this for the first time on a box and it made a huge difference in how square it all ended up and is one of my better efforts to date. If you are working with wood that is not always perfectly tru and flat this makes a huger difference. A bargain at twice the price.
