   This HUD is clearly visible during day and night. Installation was a breeze, comes with a black flat cable that connects to the car computer, easy to hide and a reflective film. In my case, I found it unnecessary, so I removed it. Initially, the speed was not accurate but following the instructions, it worked perfectly.

   Just installed on my 2013 hyundai accent GS and its looking great so far works with or wolith out the film as stated in the photo I do t have the film and I'm parked in the sunlight and it's like 1:30 in the afternoon so you can get an idea of the brightness calibration is easy for my car I set it to 110 and it comes set at 108 the design has changed a bit it no longer comes with that holder thing any more that blacks the view of the display so you can only see it in the windshield. It now is raised on the edge that faces you so the holder is no longer needed so that's cool all in all pretty satisfied

   If you're looking for a very simple, no BS, and above all, precise and accurate speedometer, your search ends here. I originally tried a GPS unit, but would go crazy every time the GPS signal was lost in a parking garage or somewhere deep in the woods. The stock photos are pretty accurate of what you are getting. Smaller and less obvious font, and very bright backlight. Manual was a typical Asian poorly translated booklet, but easy enough to memorize. The OBD2 interface is very responsive in my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The more aggressively angled your windshield is, the better this will look. I don't use the reflective film, and even in broad summer daylight, the display is crisp, bright, and subtle. The only time the display washes out is if you are driving straight/head on into sunlight. In that case, you're gonna be struggling to not go blind anyways.

   It's a little tricky to get it converted from Kilometers to Miles per Hour, but if you read the directions very carefully, you can change that in just a few minutes. The directions are in micro print, so get out the magnifying glass, or take a picture on your cell phone and zoom in to read it. To change to MPH, I had to: Press and hold the button straight in for 5 seconds, then toggle over to menu option 7, then press in for 1 second, then toggle over to MPH, then press in for 1 second, then press again for 5 seconds to save that adjustment in the memory, and then I was done.
