These go all day long without anything dulling or breaking. My only complaint would be that the cutting radius is a little small, so it does take a lot of back-and-forth to clear an area. Put it on my 12 year old Echo trimmer - was a little difficult to get the old Echo head off, and I had a little difficulty getting this thing firmly fitted (had to use some extra washers I had laying around), but once I got it on it's great!

So I have a Stihl weed wacker and it required an installation kit in order to put on the blade unit. Initially I was not aware of this but it was a fairly easy installation once I had the correct kit. I cannot speak as to the durability of the blades as I have not yet put it into play I can say though it appears that the unit can be flipped over and the back side of the blades now become the leading edge and provide a brand new surface if you damaged the first edge. So that appears to be a big plus.
