The blades are sharp. 3. And the back sides of the blades are sharpened too, so when the front sides are dull, you can flip the plate and make the backsides front and use it like new. 4. When both blade sides are finally dull, you can sharpen them with a sharpener or grinder. 5. Built solidly. Just takes a lick'n and keeps on tick'n. 6. I use this on my GreenWorks electric trimmer, and it works fine. The brush cutter actually seems to load the trimmer down less than some of the other brush cutters I have tried.
