Waterproof Drone

This brand new drone by Swellpro is waterproof as it can land and float on the water. Really a revolution! It is weather resistant under any circumstances. You can choose different module for your drone, depending on your needs.

The S3 constantly checks for errors and offers redundancy to improve flight stability. The dual-mode GPS locks onto up to 24 satellites from the GPS and GLONASS systems for improved accuracy and speed of positioning.

The SplashDrone 3+ comes with a fully integrated remote controller. Redesigned controls maximize ease-of-use and efficiency, while a fully integrated, high-brightness 5″ FPV screen clearly displays live video and overlaid (OSD) flight data without the need for any additional equipment. Flight control, payload release and camera controls are all at your fingertips.

Switch the remote controller into the Cruise mode and you will be able to pan (yaw) and fly the SplashDrone 3+ simultaneously with a single joystick, making your flight path smoother for more cinematic footage.

Add the GroundStation option and your mobile phone or GPS-enabled tablet can take control of the SplashDrone 3+ with your fingertip! The Swellpro FLY APP enables several smart flight modes, which drastically reduces manual input from the pilot, making flying the SplashDrone 3+ even easier.

Up date to my review, I send back the drone and got a replacement, and the first one must have been defective because the new one is amazing, it connected to GPS even indoors, took it outside and flew amazingly to the point I lost sight of it, flying only by the phone app, the video quality is unbelievable sharp and clear, return home works very well it landed 10 inches from the take off pad, battery life is decent over all very happy

Once you calibrate the drone and it connects to GPS, it is extremely stable. It is really easy to fly and control. The smartphone app makes this really easy to take pictures and photos as well.

Even though it's still considered a beginner drone, I feel that it has many nice features including homing button, 1 touch take off, 1 touch landing, emergency stop and the best feature is follow me mode. I'm not an expert drone pilot, i just like to play with them on my free time and i have about 5, or 6 of them so far, they were pretty much the basic drone with no fancy options.
