Waterproof Drone

This brand new drone by Swellpro is waterproof as it can land and float on the water. Really a revolution! It is weather resistant under any circumstances. You can choose different module for your drone, depending on your needs.

The S3 constantly checks for errors and offers redundancy to improve flight stability. The dual-mode GPS locks onto up to 24 satellites from the GPS and GLONASS systems for improved accuracy and speed of positioning.

The SplashDrone 3+ comes with a fully integrated remote controller. Redesigned controls maximize ease-of-use and efficiency, while a fully integrated, high-brightness 5″ FPV screen clearly displays live video and overlaid (OSD) flight data without the need for any additional equipment. Flight control, payload release and camera controls are all at your fingertips.

Switch the remote controller into the Cruise mode and you will be able to pan (yaw) and fly the SplashDrone 3+ simultaneously with a single joystick, making your flight path smoother for more cinematic footage.

Add the GroundStation option and your mobile phone or GPS-enabled tablet can take control of the SplashDrone 3+ with your fingertip! The Swellpro FLY APP enables several smart flight modes, which drastically reduces manual input from the pilot, making flying the SplashDrone 3+ even easier.

Honestly, I was very close to putting everything back in the box and returning drone. I had difficulty with the setup process and was experiencing a 10 second latency with the FPV. However, that's because I clicked "yes" in the Settings for "Stabilization." The moment I turned that off, it went to less than a second. In addition, I removed the 8GB SD card that comes with it and replaced with a 32GB. That would cause the App to crash every time I clicked "Record." These 2 issues were major headaches but I was stubborn for not reaching out to customer support. Both are now working great.

I really like this drone. I am a first time drone flyer (bought a mini and it was too small—upgraded to this). The instruction manual is decent. I wish it was clearer about compass calibration. I bought an extra battery after it arrived because one you near that 15 minute mark of flight time you are having too much fun to stop. Lots of videos online about this unit which made learning it easier. Wish the remote didn’t have so many odd positions that needed to be used to activate motors, etc. highly recommend. Great drone for the price! I crashed mine into a tree on the third day of flying and once we got it down it was still good. Durability is important for first time drone flyers!
