Interesting is that the noise in the attic could not be heard from inside the house and the cats didn't seem like they could hear it either. The night following the installation I did not hear anything scratching on the ceiling. For that matter I never hear the mice scratching again. After about a week I removed the device and as of 2 weeks later still do not hearing anything moving around the attic. Big success!
