   I had bought two of these harnesses for my very large dogs, and they worked great for several years. Unfortunately, one of my dogs passed away due to cancer and I got a 5 month old puppy who will probably grow to be a medium-large dog, so I got another one of these in a smaller size for her. It fits her great at the smallest setting, and I think it will continue to work for her as she grows.
   These are very easy to put on and take off once you have taken the time to get the straps right, and they are about as sturdy a harness as I have ever seen. The big loops make attaching the seat belt very easy, and the dual D-rings make it possible to secure a leash to them even if they are strong pullers. Very happy with them.

   My veterinarian prefers crash harnesses over dog car crates. Unless you fasten your crate solidly in the car crates provide little protection. My dog is not a fan of harnesses of any kind. Be careful of getting the right size and adjust the harness carefully or the stiff breastplate can ride up under your dogs neck and interfere with breathing. Harness must be snug and fitted correctly to work. To avoid it riding up.

   Size Small fits my corgi perfectly (Pembroke Corgi 18.00 lbs). It took me approximately 10 minutes to readjust it and the instructions were very straightforward so I didn’t have any problems with that. Overall, I highly recommend getting one of these safety harness over the cheaper ones that aren’t tested. It’s pricy but worth it since I travel with my pup quite a bit and she’s like a family member to me. I’d do anything to make sure she’s as safe as possible.

   The product is very secure and fits our 43lb. dog nicely. When adjusted properly (you need to work this part out with your pet ;) ) it fits very securely and will restrain your animal. We experienced severe auto accident, and thankfully pet was not involved in this incident. This made us realize pet needs to be secured too. We believe this product gives us the best protection for our pet and EVERYONE should buckle up for Safety's sake, even for the shortest car rides.

   I bought a small for my 20 pound beagle mix and it works great. I use it in combo with his booster seat, which has two clips that latch onto this harness perfectly. He stays put well and I have had a few close calls with bad drivers. Definitely worth it and I am glad I purchased it because I haven't seen anything like it. I recommend getting a booster seat that you can attach with a seat belt and then latching this to the booster seat buckles. It works really well in that situation. I am not sure how well it would work without something else to latch to it.

   I bought two of these. I have two dogs. They are fairly easy to put on my dogs because of the markings which allow you to tell where the straps need to be. I have not had to redo them once I fit them to my dog which was a chore but more so because my dogs are crazy. I cannot say whether or not they work in a crash because thankfully I have not had to test them and honestly hope I never have to. They are expensive but when I read that most harnesses are not actually crash tested and that most of the ones that actually are tested fail miserably I figured my piece of mind was worth the expense. I just hope they work when or if I really need them to. If they do in fact work they will be more than worth the money.

   Just keep in mind....
   If you have a large/deep breasted breed like our Standard Poodle, don't make it a snug fit. The piece that goes on the bottom is thick and firm to help them in place in a crash, but it will feel too tight if you don't give it a little slack.
