   Our chihuahua-pitbull minix puppy is 18 months old and settled into her new reality of being seatbelted in with this harness and not in our laps where she wasn’t safe on car trips very easily. It’s incredibly sturdy. When we bring it out after saying “car” she now gets very excited, which makes us feel like it is comfortable for her. She passes out quickly after being strapped in. I’d highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to make sure their four-legged family members stay as safe as the human family members if something unexpected were to happen on the road.

   I wanted a high quality harness to keep my dog secured in the vehicle because we are frequently on the interstate. This harness is exactly what I was looking for. The buckles and metal pieces are durable but not excessively bulky. The straps have number markings so when you are getting it adjusted for the first time, it’s not a guessing game to get the straps equal on each side. Once you have it sized, the excess strap can be rolled up and secured with the Velcro pieces that are attached. I would definitely recommend this harness if you are looking for something to keep your dog secured in your vehicle.

   "I looked at numerous car restraints for my 90 pound Pitbull Rocco. My friend had an accident many years ago and shared with me that her beloved dog was thrown through the windshield and killed. Restraining the dog in the car is important not only for the dog's safety but for your safety. If you imagine the dog going 60, 70, or 80 miles an hour and you stopped suddenly, what would happen to your body if your dog hits the back of your seat, the back of your head/neck? What is it really worth to protect your health as well as the dogs? What I discovered is that many of the restraints made by other companies (even though they say they're crash-tested) actually failed when tested by an independent reviewer.
   This restraint has made my dog a ""new"" dog in the car. Where he used to fidget and whine, he now rides securely knowing he's not going to fall on the floor or loose his balance. I love taking him with me now! Thanks for a great product, I hope we never test it's full protection.

   The harnesses are sturdy and durable they are great quality material and are as described. The adjustment straps take some time to figure out but once you get it you got it. I HIGHLY recommend using your cars SEATBELT to secure your fur baby. Just slide the car belt buckle through the harness handles and fasten the seatbelt into the car like you would for yourself. This is the safest way because if you use a harness leash attachment that has its own buckle that you buckle into your cars seatbelt you are relying on that product solely to keep your pet safe not the harness. I Know of dogs that have die because the seatbelt attachment broke lose from the buckle in the car and the dog went flying still wearing the leach attachment that came unbuckled.

   Like other reviewers have mentioned, this seat belt locks the dog into place too tightly. My already anxious dog is worse with this on because she can’t move at all /get comfortable. I ended up purchasing a seat belt stopper to keep the seatbelt a little loose for some. Other than that annoyance, it seems sturdy and gives me peace of mind knowing she won’t fly out the window. She has gotten out of it twice while driving but that’s not too bad out of the 100 times we’ve used this.

   I went shopping for a true crash-tested harness for my dog since many car harnesses either have not been crash tested at all by the manufacturer, or have failed the crash tests they have been subjected to. Since this one has the certification I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did.
   This product is incredibly well built. It's expensive considering the price of other harnesses, but NOT expensive at all when you consider this is your dog's lifeline in the event of a serious crash. It is so well built that I don't have to question if it is safe, and it is clear to me why the product has passed its crash tests. Used to the manufacturer's recommendations, I can envision this truly saving my dog.
   It's easy to size, easy to put on, very well designed (I particularly love the velcro tabs to conceal the excess sizing webbing), and even has a couple of loops for walking doggo to the car.

My dog didn't have a scratch on her. She hadn't budged from the spot she was sitting. Everyone who arrived to help at the accident said "thank God she was strapped in".
   Besides the obvious safety qualities, it's also comfortable for her to wear and she is able to sit up or lie down while wearing it. Love that it's adjustable. It also keeps her in one spot in the car so that she can't try to get into the front seat while I'm driving. I always have it on her whenever we are in the car and now I always will.

Our young daughter is able to get him in the harness, seated and buckled on her own. The adjustability, measurements on the straps to follow to ensure things are even and overall design are amazing.
