This was a good compromise and works as you would expect. Some games are completely in Chinese. However, since they are simple retro style, you can figure it out. It has no save feature, so that limits obsession with a single game and leads you to explore the other games. Also with the retro style, the games don't hold your hand. You miss a jump, you die, game over start from scratch. Know what you're getting, it is not a Switch, Playstation or Iphone. Don't expect much, it is simple and easy time waster that doesn't expose your kid to the internet or other phone related issues.
