   Just returned from my first walk taking my cat out with the Fat Cat Backpack, and my cat loved it! He's almost 15 pounds, and he had plenty of room to move around and see things through the little bubble, and also lie down when he felt like it. The straps are very comfortable, and I'm about 5'5. I wondered if it would take a while for him to get used to it, but nope. He actually fell asleep on the way back. My only complaint (which really isn't one) is that I couldn't get a picture of him looking through the bubble because of sun glare, and had to take it from the top instead, while he was watching ducks. LOL! It's also quite the conversation piece, as another person stopped me, and said that he had the same backpack, and his cats loved it too! Great purr-chase! (Sorry about the pun!)

   I initially got this back pack for our 18lbs cat because it was so hard to get him in and out of his carrier. This back pack makes it a lot easier because I can put him head first in the back pack and zip it up before he has time to turn around and jump out. There’s also a smaller zipper opening. The dome is hard to get on. I’m not exactly sure how to put it on. I just fidget with it and it snaps on. I got a second back pack for our kittens and they both fit in it fine. They were aggressively biting the gate to our carrier so this backpack works a lot better. The bottom has a cushioned floor and is very sturdy. It also folds flat for storage.

   Got this for a kitten, Monty, so we started with the smaller size cause we don’t even know how big the little guy is going to get. It has taken repetition but ultimately Monty has gotten used to riding along with us on our daily walks. Has tried to jump out twice, the tether inside has done a good job of catching him. We did try this out on our adult cat, when he jumped out it nearly broke the clasp on the tether. I’ll be looking around to replace the part because it looks strained now. Overall id still recommend this product, it has worked and I plan on buying a larger one if Monty gets big enough to need it. One thing that has bothered me is how sweaty my back gets with the pack on, but I do live in the south, it is currently hot and humid so that could happen without a pack these days.

   My little guy loves his backpack! For reference, he is 10-11 lbs, so kinda a big boy comparatively. It took sometime to get him used to it but now he lays in it even when we are home. He feels so safe and secure in it. I originally purchased the clear cat backpack but it was too small and I didn’t feel like it had enough air circulation but this one has mesh sides and top that I feel gives him enough fresh air. He has a history of stress and anxiety that can cause his cat cold to come back but he felt so comfortable. It provides enough peak holes to see outside but not overwhelmed and exposed. He likes to lay down sometimes and just kinda hide so it gives him the option. I only dinged a bit because I feel like the back pack can get flimsy on the front right side but it’s durable! Overall great purchase

   I purchased this for my cat and it is taking him a long time to get acclimated to this carrier. I should preface this by saying he hates all carriers and meows like someone is murdering him anytime he is placed in a carrier. I leave his carriers out all the time so he can get used to them being around, and occasionally, he hops into them. Occasionally, I’ll zip it closed. That’s when the terror scream/whine/meow starts. I’ll feed him treats through the window as well, but he hates it. That’s where my sisters dog comes into the picture. We recently went hiking and she wanted to bring him along. We knew he wouldn’t make the 8 mile hike, so I brought the backpack for him. It worked like a charm! He LOVED it! We were asked so many times along the hike, “Where did you get that? It’s perfect!” The backpack held all of his treats, waste bags, and a large bottle of water without any problems. Diesel, a yorkie, had plenty of room to move around. He tangled himself a bit with the harness leash attachment but nothing that was concerning. I would definitely recommend getting this if you have an adventure pet or the patience of Job to train your stubborn as all get out cat. I’m still training my cat with this carrier. I’m not giving up that East and my sister is now purchasing a backpack for her dog.

   Great backpack for the price! I saw one just like it listed on another sight for twice as much, so this is a great deal. It's large enough where in a pinch we could squeeze two of our cats into it, though they would be a little crammed. Our little girl, likes to pop her head out of the opening flap on top. And it's easy to lift her in and out of as she wants when exploring on our walks. The only drawback I've found is the little snap on the strap that holds the top flap back fell off, but this to me wasn't enough to lose a star. Overall the pack is very sturdy and comfortable for both our kitty and us.

   So far I really like this. It has a chest strap and it is pretty comfortable even when carrying a 16lb cat. It sits at a nice place on my lower back. My cats did okay, I think they liked it. I took one in the corner store when I grabbed a water and everyone thought it was a cute awesome idea. I am very excited for spring to get here so I can take them out more. I already have to take the dog so might as well take a cat. It is well padded and has a study bottom with a fuzzy pad. It is a two person job to put on the backpack without jangling the cat around, but you could also put it on a counter and put it on yourself with some fiddling. I will update if I have any issues.
