   I tried poison pellets, hose end sprayers and anything else’s I could find to get rid of the moles. These look like they will work. I’m 2 months into installation and have only seen 2 new mounds. I’m in Florida and have sandy soil which isn’t ideal for the best performanceBut seems to be doing ok. Curious to see the life expectancy of the solar and battery.

   I have a bad mole problem in my yard. I tried these spikes along with grub remover and have had them in the ground for almost a month. They were a lot louder than expected (my neighbors can hear them) but I was willing to keep them in if they would work. Not only did they not work, I believe they made the problem worse. I’m convinced the noise makes the moles move around more. At first I was hoping the tunnels were getting worse just because the moles were moving out, I was wrong. I finally resorted to trapping and I am actually trapping them near the spikes. Don’t waste your money on these, it’s not worth it!
