I have used this in the field multiple times and would not play without it. This face mask has taken multiple shots directly to the face/mouth and it still looks brand new. Zero damage from any of the impacts, and worked as intended. My only gripe is I have to pull the straps in the back a little higher on my head to keep everything up. If you keep the straps in the middle back of your head, everything slides down. You notice the tension when you first try it on. However, in the middle of a game, you don't notice it at all. From all the horror stories I've heard about people getting hit in the teeth with a BB. This is a must for every time playing. Definitely would recommend and purchase again.

I used to use a full mesh face mask but even with a bunch of forming and bending I still wasn't satisfied. I planned on using this mask with a similar color mask and didn't mind sending it back once, assuming it was a simple mistake. Twice now makes me hesitant to waste my time again. While the color of the mask is pretty trivial it should be something the seller should get right considering they are offering several color variants in the first place.

This is a great mask for airsoft. It's well constructed and the flexible sides allows getting a proper cheek weld with your rifle easy. Using a rigid mesh mask or paintball mask makes this impossible, meaning you have to adjust your method for aiming down iron sights. The mask is breathable, though maybe a bit hotter than a full mesh mask and it has a very wide range of sizing.
It can also fit underneath a hat or helmet easily. With a bit of modification, you can also make the mask fit directly into a FAST helmet's side clips to have an integrated system.
