   I bought this motor to drive a 4m high curtain, and it works great. The curtain is heavy but the engine can still do it. Can't wait for the system to be compatible with Apple Homekit to finally use it with it. Otherwise the Switchbot application is well done, but I prefer the integration with Apple Home.

   It's simple instructions but with the app being just "ok" the calibration is a little annoying. I placed these on a side window little smaller with blinds. So had to adjust the window treatments so the switch bot could pass over and not hit the blind tilt. The bot has little weight so if you have a thin bar it will not roll across as it doesnt fit snug against the bar. Good thing is I didnt have a problem with my telescope bar like other users. Just calibration isnt fun. I use smartthings and google home so hence the 1 star for alexa
   But wish I had found this sooner to intergrate with my smartthings as these features are amaz

   Very straightforward install, connects to the phone via Bluetooth very quickly, was disappointing that it wasn't clear that the switch bot hub was required to make it work with Alexa as I could have purchased both items at the same time which would have made the install quicker
   It's not exactly quiet when it opens and closes but it's not too bad
   It's quite expensive for what it is but I managed to change my curtains and curtain track to make it work with one switchbot curtain
   Connection to the hub was easy, it took a few attempts to connect to the cloud but worked after 10 minutes and was then easy to connect to Alexa

   These are great. I bought 2 because we have a 12 foot picture window. You use one on each side of the curtains. The set up was very easy both physically and digitally. The hardest part was where my curtain rod has an extension piece in the middle and the robots have a hard time getting over it. The kit comes with metal comb looking things that are supposed to help the transition but they are garbage. The glue came off on the plastic and the metal didn't stick to anything. I wound up wrapping the transitions in painters tape and that worked great. I thought they were a bit pricey--200 for one big window, but we love that the windows are opened and closed each day whether we are there or not, so in the long run it is worth it. We have not used it with Alexa. We use the bluetooth with our internet which is fine.

   I saw this product on Snapchat and had to try it! Since my curtain rod is long and meets in the middle, I had to buy two switch bots so that they open/close from the middle. They are very easy to set up, just need to be charged first - if you follow the instructions, it's a no brainer. My goal was really to connect them to Alexa because my house is smart. So I had to buy a hub mini to make that work. However, I was struggling to connect the hub mini to my wifi. I contacted customer service and opened a ticket - and they responded pretty much instantaneously. All I had to do is press the hub mini button for 15 seconds so it could restart and then it connected immediately to my wifi. From there, I just connected it to Alexa and now I have the exact setup that I was looking for. I love it so much that I'll get another set for my bedroom. Great purchase, easy install, and wonderfully responsive customer service!

   This is the best product ever invented. It’s changed my life. It’s invisible behind the curtain and works perfectly. The app is so easy to use, has the perfect features and runs so smoothly. The set the bot to open 5-10 min before I need to wake up in the morning and it works flawlessly. The battery life is also incredible. I’ve had it for over a month and it’s only gone down 2%. I probably won’t need to charge it for a year. My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner!

   Been using it for nearly a year. Works great especially after I set up a schedule for when it should open and close. I used it on 2 different black out curtains. One was heavier and I can see it slightly struggling with it but still working, then I switched to a lighter blackout material and those have no problems at all. I wish the gears that move it were a bit quieter, it definitely was jumpscaring me at first. From controlling side having it HomeKit compatible would be a great upgrade as well because I would love to be able to control it with a voice command.
