   This silicone gap filler is a great lttle tool for solving what could be a nuisance. Two strips came in the package- using one now, saving one for later or for another use if one arises. I am using it to fill a space between my kitchen countertop and my electric range. It merely sits on top to block moisture, crumbs, and other debris from falling into the gap. It's a T-shape, so the fit is fairly snug. It makes cleanup quicker and easier because I don't have to worry about getting down between the sink and the range. The look of the gap filler is nice. The clear version does not appear to be there unless you stand close to it, so that makes the appearance nicer in my kitchen than colored ones that I tested (white and gray - I have a marble-tone white and gray countertop.) Installation is simple. Just measure, cut if necessary (so easy to do) and drop in place. A useful, practical product that doesn't detract from the overall look of the kitchen.

   These white silicone gap covers have replaced my old hard-plastic covers. I like these better. Some fold marks remained in the silicone after unpacking, but they quickly disappeared once I laid the strips out flat. It was nice to be able to cut the strips to the size I need. They're unobtrusive, and so flexible that they stay in place all the way to the back of my stove top and then up the edges of the back panel of the stove. They readily wipe clean.

   This product really has stopped all messes between stove and countertop. However my counters and stovetop edge are almost exactly the same height. I can see that they might not work so well if there is a significant height difference. They work best for me with the larger edge on the countertop. Didn't want to cover up my new countertops with this not so attractive silicone strip, but when the red sauce I spilled wiped right off the strip I decided these were a necessity!
