   A truly fascinating product. It's like looking into the universe. This product does all it claims to do...but the bigger benefit is how mesmerizing this globe really is. I have placed this globe next to my wide screen tv and find my attention drawn to it more often than whatever is playing on tv. Great therapy for me...gives me that wonder that I had as a child.

   the remote is sorta cheapish feeling but it works, and plugs into the wall. I wish they had a clear dome on the black version, but I take the dome off. I have unfortunately a popcorn textured ceiling, and this is still really cool, even though I have that ugly old textured ceiling. I do prefer it with the dome off, but wish the dome sort of locked in place when on so it doesn't pop off easily. Overall it's a really really cool product, I do wish the laser wasn't just red though.

I sometimes have have to block the projector from my eyes because the light goes everywhere and it bothers me if it goes into my eyes and might be harmful. Especially if you are thinking of leaving this on your children's nightstand unattended - protect your eyes against the laser and LED light, and enjoy

   I bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves anything that has lights to add to his bedroom. His computer, keyboard, mouse, etc lights up in his bedroom. I figured this would be a great addition to the light show in his room. This puts off some really cool colors. I saw in one review that it's best to take the dome off to get the best view of the lights and YES, take the dome off!!! It shows the lights so much better and makes for a much cooler light show. He hasn't used the music aspect so I can't review that but the light part is great! Honestly, I was a little mesmerized staring at them.

   My toddler and baby love this light. It's very soothing for them both. The timer feature is great, as is the remote. The colors it projects are beautiful. However, my first light broke after almost 6 months of nightly use. It stopped rotating and this was its best feature. I contacted the seller to see how I could fix it, but instead, they immediately wrote me back saying they would replace the light for free. Bedtime wasn't the same without it!

   This costs a little more than some of the swirly lights I've ordered but the aurora borealis effect is well worth it. I had thought that it might change effects with the music but that doesn't appear to be the case but what it does do is produce a peaceful, colorful visual experience with several modes that cycle through various color combinations or limit it to just one of the three color LEDs. The laser effect is the best part when the refractor dome is not in use but you can turn it off if you just want the placid effect of the LED lights. There are three intensity settings for the LED lights that allow you to turn it down low enough to use as a night light and you can turn off the rotating swirling effect which makes a small whirring noise from the geared motor.

   We prefer the light show without the dome. We feel the dome blurs the colors too much. The effect is quite nice. You need to be able to position the unit thoughtfully for best effect. It needs to be fairly centered under the ceiling, and not too far away or it will spread and blur. Recommended. Now, we find out how long it lasts!

Although it somewhat jams like trips or skip when changing colors, it's great to use when on a solid color for sleep. If the rotation didn't jam up when changing colors I'd use that pattern more, but it has other colors I could use so I'd give it that. Primary colors are red green blue and white(?) for solid colors. Love the red and blue when sleeping. Would use the speaker feature more if it were Bluetooth (have to always use an adapter for the iPhone 7 to use the jack). All in all good product for sleeping.

   We have a 60" picture in our dining area depicting many beautiful colors of buds opening to become flowers. When we click on the button of the remote that says 'Aurora' and the moving light goes over the picture it is stunning; I just keep watching and seeing new colors I didn't notice before. The remote also has a stop button if you choose to have the light stationery in one position. The lamp itself is not positional. As others in the reviews,have said the lighting is much prettier and brighter without the top on. We would definitely buy this again.
