This works great for weeds that have shallow or medium roots, but I don't this it is really used for very deep root weeds. After practicing for a bit, I got the hang of it and love this product.

I have even used it to pull up mats of more vine-like weeds by twirling them around the tool like spinning spaghetti around a fork and then 'un-spinning' the weeds in my waste bin.
