Great door stops. I have double doors heading into my kitchen and they were forever partially closed. These did the trick. I love that they allow the doors to open close to the wall. If you have door knobs you could place the base further from the wall and prevent the handle from hitting the wall. My doors just have small cabinet knobs on them. I did not drill my travertine floor to install the base. I used double sided tape and some clear silicone around the edge. It worked great and the stops work great.

I mounted the flat metal piece on the wall, and the magnetic par on the gate, and this works perfectly! . The wind does not break it loose either (of course, my gate is slotted, not solid). This Magnetic Door Stop also allows the gate to open flat against the wall, thereby giving me use of most of the full width of the ramp.
