They are easy to use as well. These are nice heavy pieces with good strong magnets. they do only raise so high so adjustments may need to be made for door height.

   I bought these for some very big studio doors that used to swing wildly. I needed to still be able to open my doors as far as possible for when big items have to come through, so any fixed door stop on the floor or hinges wouldn't work. The magnet seems to catch every time, which is great, but you definitely have to 'set' the door on the magnet, it doesnt seem to catch the door mid swing (these are huge, 8ft doors, to be fair).

   I have a particular door that is hollow core. The room has a tile floor that I didn't want to drill into to mount a door stop. This set helped me on both counts. Both pieces (door and floor) are mountable using the included 3M foam backed adhesive that is included in the kit. It would have been nicer to instructions included (there are none - this is a white box item), but I have experience with Magic Square mounting material so this was not an obstacle. I first cleaned and dried both surfaces using a de-greasing cleaner (Formula 409 in my case) and then stuck on the two components; one on the door and the other on the floor. Voda! No more loose door. The magnet is strong enough to hold but easy enough to release.

   The Door Stopper that was pictured when we ordered it was not this item. However, the current picture that appears as I review is the same as the item I received. My original purpose was to use it on carpet and the door stopper pictured originally was exactly what I needed. However, this item, being different requires a hard surface. That being said, while I can't use it as I originally intended, I must say that for a hard surface, this door stopper is quite good. It is of solid construction and has a quality feel to it. The magnetism is reasonably strong. The brushed metal makes finger prints and any possible scratches less visible. Although I wasn't expecting this particular item, it is definitely a durable, quality item.

   This product is great. I purchased two! I used for a wood door in a room with carpet and it holds fabulously. I love that you can operate both, the stopper and unstopper, with just a push of your foot. The second one is going to be used for a heavy steel metal commercial door. I am confident due to the quality it will hold just fine. It was very easy to install, only three screws that are included.
