I only bought one piece and wrapped around the fan and then installed a carbon filter on the end of the intake tube and WOW! So much more quiet!! Money well spent!

   Im shocked it actually works. I used this too put between a door and a wooden board in my room too close off the apartment from my side.. and used this, masking tape and foam boarders.. And i'll tell you i does the job i need it too.. its not 100%noise proof but it does help alot.. i used this too mask up about 95% of my door with about less than 5% missing because i cut the last one i had and didnt ise a ruler too measure i did everything bye eye. But i did a damn good job with six pieces.. im actually now considering putting it on my entrance door too.. i will add a pic or video soon
