Carpet Alarm Clock is loud enough to wake a deep sleeper, and the fact that you can put it anywhere (to make said deep sleeper get out of bed to turn it off) is brilliant! Playing a favorite song after the alarm stops as a 'reward' is an added bonus! It has been a life-changer with our special needs teenager!!

   This is a really good idea for people who don't wake up easy. It was a little strange to figure out at first but as long as I followed the instructions included I had no troubles setting it up. Though I haven't set it up to a computer yet. If it stops working suddenly try a set of fresh batteries and you should be good to go.(I'm a very stubborn person to wake up so I can't set it by my bed or I'll just reach over with my arm and turn it off ((yes it's that sensitive)) If you're like me maybe set it across the room near a glass of water for you to wake up to)

   It's so soft and feels good just standing on it! It's good for developing the habit of actually getting out of bed and standing to have to turn it off. I would oftentimes shut off my old alarm and just lay back in bed and mess around on my phone, but by having to physically stand, I am much less tempted to do this. I would recommend changing the time to turn it off to longer than the default 3 seconds and uploading some inspirational mp3s to start your day off right!

Usually I’d hit the snooze once or twice, and when I do finally stop the alarm I’d fidget on my phone for a good 5 minutes before I get up. This morning I just got up. The memory foam is great, however the device is clunky and you have to remove it and connect it to your computer via USB to program the alarm. I'm not sure if there are newer versions with more advanced interfaces or not. The audio quality is not very good, and it is piercingly loud. Hard one to sleep though.If you have trouble getting out of bed though, this could be worth it. It's not overly hard to figure out how to download the software and connect your Carpet Alarm Clock.

   For someone who couldn't get out of bed without snoozing 4 times, this did the trick. I put this in my closet, and I'm up by the time I'm stepping on this beast. It's loud, and via computer, you can set all of the different times for different days. Easy to use and set. Loud...and I mean LOUD. If you have trouble waking up, this is a great solution. My only complaint is that it isn't washable. My dogs sleep on it, and they get it dirty. I'll just buy a new one when it gets too dirty for this obsessive compulsive person.
