   This is THE PERFECT car seat for my 8.5lb. Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix). She’s secure in it and can easily see out of the vehicle at the same time seeing my husband and I, all while being safe and secure. It’s super easy to install using the underside straps, making it very secure on the center console of our Jeep Grand Cherokee, the sides are tall enough for her to be fully “inside” and the padding makes it super comfy for her. The front has a folding center that can easily be let down and folded inward or outward based on your pet’s preference. My little girl prefers inward so a “shelf-like” pillow is available for her to lay her front paws and head on. I did a lot of searching for the perfect pet car seat, this is it. A bit pricier than I thought it would be, but all of them are and this particular one is worth every single penny. Fits the bill for safety and comfort!

   I love this console seat. But let me share my thoughts...the sturdiness is a 2 star for me. It’s secure and fits in my F150 great! But when turning corners, the weight of my chihuahua shifts so does the seat. So I hold onto it. It’s not a big deal to do that so it’s low on my complaint list. It’s really well made. I love it and so does my pup! Hope what I’m trying to describe isn’t confusing!

   Let me start by saying how blown away I am with this product. It’s sturdy and well made, doesn’t feel cheap, and the straps are thick. It’s also soooo soft!! It was well packaged and came with a brush that all three of our cats enjoy, including one formerly feral cat who hisses at the old brush.
   I purchased this so our youngest and smallest cat Onyx can be with us in front during a cross country roadtrip, and not be confined to a carrier.
   Our other two cats are much bigger and would not fit in this - one is 13lbs and the other is 14lbs. Onyx weighs about 10lbs. If you’re trying to fit anything bigger than a Boston terrier you’ll have some trouble as it isn’t a very big product.
   I set it up on a shelf so that Onyx can get used to it. I found him in it shortly after I put it out. He stayed in it for hours, slept in it, and groomed in it! Needless to say it’s a keeper and will serve us well when we’re traveling.

   This little bed is much sturdier than expected. It was easy to install over the console of our Nissan Rogue. Our dog is a 13 pound stocky doxiepin and she is able to get in the bed on her own and turn herself around in it. There is a little strap in the bed that you can attach to the pet's harness, but we have not used it.
   We have already taken a few 7+ hour drives and our dog even sometimes chooses to nap in the bed instead of sitting in a passenger's lap. She's had no issues remaining secure and comfortable with stopping and starting traffic.
   The only drawback is losing the armrest for driver and passenger elbows.

   My 7# Morkie is a hot mess of anxiety on any given day, and the car is the worst. Constantly trying to jump in my lap and won’t sit still for more than 10 seconds no matter what. I previously bought a raised basket/box type of dog seat for the passenger seat, which he was constantly trying to jump out of and/or barking/whining no. Stop when clipped into the seat. I pulled this out of the box at home and he happily sat in it with his toy on day 1. I had him sit in it a few times at home and just hang out, and he was very happy just resting his head on the un snapped pillow front. Yesterday, I set it up in my car. My dog was happy, quiet, looking out the window, not fidgeting, even laid down for part of the car ride. I literally called a friend to tell her I felt like the dog whisperer at that moment. 180 degree change, it was like having a completely different dog. I highly recommend this console chair!!!
