I wasn't sure which leg to put it on, so I tried the right and then the left. You find the :"sore" spot on the outside of your leg below the knee, that's where the "bump" on it goes. It works like Shiatsu or Reflexology, pressure points for relief. It's not a cure, but it's sure great to go several hours pain free! I recommend these for everyone who has back pain! The ONLY downside is they only come in one side, my brother has LARGE calves so they are too small for him but I added a piece of Velcro to one so now it fits great!
