Well made with straight stitching and the corners are secure. The control is well made and not that cheap plastic you find so often. Only problem I have is my small puppy and my 18 yr old cat think they need it more

I believe if you misuse the product or have the connector completely covered you could have issues, but just use the product appropriately. It does automatically shut off after 30 minutes, I believe. I use this for a bulging disc, so the large size is a huge bonus. My husband wraps it around his knee. It heats up quickly and does get very hot. It has 4 setting to choose from, but most of the time the two lowest settings do the job. The heat doesn't fade away during use and is a constant heat. The fabric is very soft on the one side. The back side with all the directions and caution notes is the felt fabric that is also common for heat pads. Would definitely purchase again.

This is The best heating pad for all your needs. Wasn't sure about cleaning the cover but read the directions, which are printed right on the cover and you don't take the cover off. It's one piece and the heating elements are built right into the material. It's okay to throw the whole thing in the washer on gentle cycle after detaching the cord. The directions say you can also put, on low, in your dryer. I haven't tried either yet to see how it turns out but will see if I can leave a response about it once I try. As far as the heating, the length of the cord, etc. everything was really good and I'm very satisfied with this product.

Otherwise it's a wonderful heating pad. Not cheap like those plastic ones with the pull off covers. I just wish they would build the controllers better. They never seem to last long enough and go out often after just a few months use. But so far, so good!! I'm loving it daily. I have a severe back injury which requires heat everyday for hours. I'm giving it 5 stars because it works very well.
