As for the fact, the title is true! I'm texting and not paying attention lol, and when I open the drawer of the air fryer, cheese all over this bowl makes for the crispiest scrambled eggs. After holding back my tears, I gritted my teeth and used scissors the basket (it was really hot!) and put it in the sink. As soon as the cold water is poured in, the cheeses will harden and, once the basket is upside down, all fall into the silicone strainer. Cleanup includes a warm spray of water, a quick sweep with a dishwasher, and voila! Time to cook egg rolls. So easy! It is a relief! This makes the food crispy, and the cleanup comes apart easily! I put it in the dishwasher and it worked fine. Doesn't fade even. I'm happy with mine!

I did toast the bread a little before putting it in fryer, but it turned out great. The garden peppers roasted nicely in it and though the bacon doesn't fit in it without folding, it does cook them. It's not as crisp as when I don't use it but it works. I've done breaded fish patty's, fries and tator tots and they turn out good. There is less capacity than without it, but Overall, a good investment!

Had to make a couple of hooks to grab the silicone pot handles inside the HOT fryer when done. The sides of the fryer get really hot, so be careful. Thus the hooks. Otherwise, can't be beat. Try it. I am able to cook a greater variety of food because I don’t have food falling through the perforated grate. I like the fact it is made of silicone which prolongs it’s life. The negative side of the apparatus is that it is very hot when the item is finished cooking. There are two small tabs with holes which could be used to lift the item out of the air fryer. Presently I am using 2 small dish towels to lift it out. Another drawback is the fact is reduced the size of the number of items you can put in the air fryer. Overall I am glad I purchased it because it adds more items I can cook.
