It’s not as fancy looking (details) as the others available for double the price but it has all the functions. Our kiddos are 3 and 4 and they love it. And belief me, they don’t need fancy looking at their age and they don’t care about it. The excavator can move forward and backward, move the arm, change directions and turn the console. The remote is small, perfect for kiddo hands and needs 2 AA batteries (not included). The excavator needs a battery pack (included) which is charged via a USB adapater. The bands are rubber so it can climb easy over obstacles. I attached a video. Good buy and kiddos love it.
