   This is a sturdy toy, at least the one we got. My grandson has dropped it, thrown it off the sofa and pushed it to move without using the remote without any noticeable damage. There are no cracks and the gear mechanism works fine. The two battery feature is great because the battery will discharge after a days use. I'd buy it again based on what I've seen so far, but fortunately, we don't have to because the rugged little thing keeps on truckin.

   I bought this for a turning-three grandson. It was total and complete love at first sight. But it was the multiple things that this machine does that won everyone over. It handles very well even for a 3 yr old and , the material quality is outstanding ! It seems to be very sturdy and the biggest problem is the other two older kids want to play with it and the three year old is obsessed with it !! I would give this 10 stars if I could !!!

   Works wonderfully and it's easy to use. My 5 year old was able to learn how to operate it in a few minutes without frustration. He LOVES it. It is not the most rugged toy, as it is really aimed at an older age group, so we are trying to have him be a bit careful with it but it has held up very well to frequent play in the month since he received it. He can't wait to get the other construction vehicles in this line. We will certainly purchase another from this set for his birthday since we are so pleased with this one.

   My son absolutely adores his remote control excavator!! He received it for Christmas and it took a couple weeks for it to not be used on the daily. The battery life is surprisingly fantastic for how beefy the excavator moves around. But the back up battery is a god send. Back to how beefy it is: this thing can climb! Both of my boys loved making obstacles to see what the excavator could climb. One of the down falls though... the boys have yet to find an item that the excavator can actually pick up with the bucket.

   After reading the reviews, decided to purchase this one over the many that are for sale. It's pretty much all that the positive review are saying, for the price, you can't beat it! This little toy has all the movements of a real excavator and my son played with it for over an hour on his first day, it's by far his most favorite toy. The battery life is amazing, didn't even run out of power the first day and have a second one as backup. I'm not sure how long this will last as it doesn't look super durable, but time will tell, and for the price, I'd buy another one and then would have 4 batteries!

   This is an awesome little toy, I bought this for my 5 year old daughters birthday, and she loves it, I like that it has 2 battery packs, and the bucket is also radio controlled, the only 2 negative's are when you swing the cab around it does not go 360 degrees, almost, but it clicks loud, instead of stopping, this could create a problem or breakage, there should be a stop sensor so the cab would not keep on try to rotate past the stop point and click loud and try to keep on going, and the remote control batteries could also be rechargeable as the toy has, other than that it's awesome, the looks of the excavator is awesome and the contol is very decent, the only thing I have to say on this(I am 51 years old)where we're these awesome cool toys when I was 5 years old, this is awesome, I would buy again, I would recommend

It came with extra battery with usb adapter for charging, which can be used as backup. Especially 360-degree rotating feature excites my kid very much. It moves forward and backward and arms moves freely with making sound. She loves to play with it. Good purchase.

   My son had been begging me for an excavator, so I finally decided to get one for his birthday. I didn’t have much confident in this with the price in the beginning. I was surprised by the quality of this excavator. My son couldn’t stop playing it the min his dad opened the box. It works totally fine even on stairs, my husband took it to the front yard with concrete. My son now begs me for a dump truck with the remote control to play along with this excavator.
