Unfortunately we were unable to find a larger playpen, but during my search I came across this treehouse tent. This tent bed gives him the security he needs when he’s overwhelmed and wanting time alone. He would stay in this thing all day if I let him! I set this up as soon as it came in because I was desperate to try anything to keep my three-year-old toddler feeling safe at night so he good sleep well. He is always worried about strange noises or the odd housefly. This was not the easiest thing to put together because I purchased it used and it did not come with directions but I was able to figure it out with in an hour. It fits his twin car bed perfectly and seems very sturdy. Unlike some of the other reviews ,my my son does not seem to get overly warm inside of it at night. It blocks out a lot of noise and light which helps. He has slept through the night since we put the tent up so this is one happy mama :)
