Premium Antibacterial Washing Machine Tub Cleaner

I've used Affresh tablet in the past but they changed the amount in a box from 6 to 5 while still charging nearly the same old price at the store near me. Went online and saw these with 3x the amount for only a few bucks more, let's give them a shot.After running a tub clean cycle with one tablet I am impressed by a couple things -1. The amount of suds these tablets produce over the Affresh. We have very hard water in my area (320ppm) and I have to use Borax to soften the water for detergent to work properly. These produce a noticeable larger amount of 'fluffy' suds. Maybe that doesn't really matter when it comes to the actual cleaning but for peace of mind, it's something.2. The lack of residue on in the inside tub compared to Affresh. These don't produce much, if at all any of that white chalky film that Affresh tablets do. I'd normally just do an extra rinse cycle after using an Affresh, with these I might just be ok letting it run the clean cycle.I also drained the machine and cleaned out the trap filter and the filter was pretty clean. There were a few specks of dark material in the drain water that I normally don't see when draining.I used to have issues with smelly clothes but I learned a few things that have helped resolve the issue.1. Always keep the door propped open a little bit to help vent and dry out the inner tub. Closing the door will allow mold/mildew to start building and that is the cause of odors. Wipe around the inner gaskets thoroughly.2. Always clean out the detergent tub and let that dry as well.3. Drain the machine and clean the filter out regularly.4. Stop using so much detergent. You probably only need 2-3 tablespoons for a normal sized load. Use 3-4 for large or extremely dirty clothes. Filling up to the line indicated on most machines is just way too much and these appliance companies are probably in cahoots with detergent companies to sell more product.5. Use the speed wash or shortest cycle for most loads. All the agitation from 1 hour long cycles is what ruins your clothes from wear/tear. If you're just wearing a shirt one day and washing it without any major stains, a good running machine will get it clean in a 15 minute cycle.I think I'll be happy using these in the future. They do the same job as Affresh (compare each ingredients lists) and are much cheaper - don't really see why I'd spend more on the others. Recommended.

I saw this product advertised on Daily Mail - lol - with excellent reviews. Being the skeptic I am I admit I was hesitant and really didn't expect to get the results that it gave. We have a 7 yo washer. Top loader. No bells and whistles which is what we wanted, great heavy duty washer. I clean it of course but it is hard to get under the rim of the drum etc where dirt and lint accumulate. During this summer I was noticing a "musty" smell and attacked it by hand (and knuckle) trying to clean those areas. I was still smelling a musty odor afterwards. So I threw in a tablet on a full hot water wash and magic happened lol. It's like 20 tiny scrub brushes came out and thoroughly cleaned every single area!! Very impressed!! I don't know if every 2 weeks is necessary to keep it clean like this but if it is I'll gladly do it. Excellent product - Highly recommend!! I'm now going to pass some on to friends and I'm sure they'll be just as happy with their results. I don't review products much unless they're poor or exceptional. This one is definitely exceptional.

Twice a month, cheaper than other touted companies, performs a helluvalot better than the alternatives. Foams and gets everywhere with he cleaning agent! Been using at our home for 3 years on our front loader. The results are clear, ACTiVE Washing Machine Cleaner does the job right the first time!

I am now coming to the end of my first box that I purchased 2 years ago. I mainly use this after my husband washes his car detailing towels and it always leaves the drum of the washer sparkling clean! I’ve started to use it more often (emptying the box)! Thank you for such a fine product, I will gladly boast about your small family business and the usefulness and performance of your product! Works perfect for removing thick waxy products like car detailing chemicals and car wax, grease, and residue from fabric softeners (which is why we originally bought it when inheriting a used washer covered in waxy fabric softener film). Thanks to this product I do not have to worry about harsh chemicals from cleaners irritating my husband’s sensitive skin or ruining our clothes, and the ingredient list is clean enough for this crunchy lady!

The smell is great after a clean using the tub clean feature on my washing machine. I use to have people come out to my house and fix it due to some other problem with my washer back then. I don’t know exactly if this actually works or not since I’m no expert but it sure does take the smell away. Usually there is smell like sewage or funk but after a use it calms it down for the whole month.There isn’t any residue after you use it so that’s a plus.

I have a lot of laundry! I swear there is always a load going at our house. I use this twice a month to keep our washer fresh and our clothes smelling good.

I had been using it for a bit and from time to time that funk smell would return. I never took the time to actually watch to see if it worked. I just assumed it did.This morning I was compelled to sit and watch it go through a whole cycle. My first attempt wasn't great. My washer didn't put enough water into the drum for some reason so the tablet wasn't able to fully do it's thing. (See video) It basically only cleaned the back half of the washer drum. Frustrated, I took to using my waterpik to try to get some bits of the gunk off the front underside of the drum. Did this for an hour before I realized.. what if I added more water so it worked right... so I did!Turned it on to heavy duty. Yes, I know the instructions says normal wash.. the washer is nasty.. I'm gonna wash it really good with heavy duty. I'm not instructing anyone else to do this. Just telling you what I did bc I like experimenting. Threw 2 tablets in this time. Yes, the instructions says use just 1... After the washer started, I let it run for 2 minutes before I paused it and added a gallon of hot sink water. Houston, we have bubbles!! And boy were there bubbles this time. It filled the washer. Maybe it really only needs 1... I sat and watched as it did it's thing and gross particles of things started floating around behind the glass door. After it finished, I checked the inner drum. It's clean! Duuude! I stuck my head into the washer. It no longer stinks! It smells clean!! My friends, if your washer stinks and you wash clothes with it. You're just "washing" your clothes in that filth. Remove the gunk with this amazing product.Note: The underside of the gasket part had a bit of gunk residue. But it can be wiped off with a cloth. I have a bag of my kids shirts that they out grew and are too worn to donate for this purpose.My advice would be, if you have a front loader, sit and see if your washer is too smart and it adds very little water bc the drum is empty. If it does, add a gallon of hot water and let it do it's magic.
