   We were using an Ironing board to keep out dog from going upstairs (all carpeted) and that was an eye soar. We decided to get the mesh gate which was much better. We had to pull the bottom taught so our dog wouldn't go under it. we modified the top clip with a key chain ring to easily remove and replace making it easy to go up and down the stairs. The glued clips are strong and hold the net firmly in place but one did come off as my daughter decided to walk over it and her foot got caught. The clip didn't stay so well after that but we used a Command Strip from another clip and placed it on this clip and worked out great. We love the gate and no more eye soar.

   We got this “gate” to separate our kitties as they needed to get to know one another. (We brought in a second cat to our home with one cat). This allowed the kitties to see and smell each other without harm. We used it for about 6 days before we could see that the kitties were ready to get together. It allowed for a peaceful transition for both cats. It attaches to the door frame with adhesive hooks (do NOT place it on drywall! It will pull off the paint!) and is easily opened and closed to get through to other side. A very inexpensive way to establish a barrier.

   I won’t suggest this purchase for a dog that will try to escape! The hooks are sticky plastic and very thick adhesive. It’s Weather proof which I love Incase I forget about it during the rain.

   Hey if I had a big energetic dog, I wouldn't have gotten this. I have a cat that just needs a little more protection from the 1 1/2 year old Boston Terrier I have. My pup doesn't challenge the gate so it's just exactly what I need for a great price. So far I haven't even had to use the screws but I will if the adhesive wears off. Buy something sturdier if you have a dog(s) that is/are challenging. This is for the obedient dog that just needs an obstacle to help stay that way!

   This pet gate worked great for what i needed. I have two large cats who can jump rather high and were jumping over the 43 inch stationary gate w/door we installed. I need a barrier to cover the upper half of the doorway that would allow viewing, air flow and easy access. This product worked out great. We installed it vertically instead of horizontally. We also used Command Strips to install the hooks in case it did not work and easy removal without harm to the paint of the doorway. Also, the mesh gate can easily be unhooked (one or two or all hooks) when the gate is not needed or for access through the doorway. Our cats have not attempted to jump over the stationary gate since the installation of the mesh gate barrier

   I was looking for something to use around my stairs and gates dont work so i said ill give this a try and i just got it but it was easy to maneuver the way i want it. My stairs have thin wood stick so i had to cut the plastic sticky things and it was way long for my stairway so i fold it twice from one end and put safety pins and its ok. My baby didnt even bother trying to see what it was. I hope he doesnt figure it out. Lol

   We purchased 3 of these for our doorways. The first two we put up ABOVE a standard plastic gate, the plastic gate is on one side of the door frame & the mesh gates end just below the top of the plastic gate but on the other side of the door way, this leaves a 6" gap between the two....We have a critter room that our rabbits & house chickens roam, which also has our cats' litter boxes in it. The plastic gate keeps the rabbits in the room while the mesh creates a visual barrier to keep the chickens in the room. The six inch gap allows the cats to get into and out of the room at will. Has worked perfectly for this!
   The third gate we use to keep our Great Dane/Lab mix in our living room at night. Due to his height (he's tall) we installed the mesh gate sideways (works perfectly) so it is taller but still fits in the doorway, while leaving a 3" gap at the bottom for the cats to go under. Again, has worked perfectly for this, but he does not try to push through the gate. It's perfect for a well behaved dog.
   If you expect this gate to keep an aggressive dog or determined child in, you will be disappointed, but it works great as a VISUAL barrier.
