I use the product for deep conditioning and it works great. I put on a plastic cap before using the steam cap because I don't want to worry about cleaning. Make sure you towel dry your hair as recommended before applying conditioner To avoid excessive dripping while wearing the cap. I failed to do that and I had a lot of moisture dripping around the steam cap on my towels. Lessons Learned. Generally a good quick method to make a deep conditioner.

When it cycles off it will feel less warm but don’t be fooled, the cap is well insulated and the heat stays in. The liner cap that it comes with is decently big and I can fit all of my hair in, and it doesn’t seem to get stained or anything by my oil treatments so that’s nice that I don’t have to create waste using processing caps. Overall I am completely satisfied with this, I just wish it was cuter. I look like a total weirdo wearing a pink bucket on my head.
