It's lightweight so the material is a little fragile, but so long as you are careful and not to drop it, then the item will last. Another drawback is the time, which I dont mind. I plugged it on my first break (2 hours), and, by lunch time, freshly cooked food awaits you. There are no odors or food smells coming out either.

It’s more like a crockpot than an instantpot. This isn’t a fast solution but it’s a solid solution if you plan in advance. No fighting over the microwave or risking cross contamination in this era by using communal items. The only thing I wish is that the large side also had a container. It’s a bit of a pain to clean the box without a second removable container.
