   I live in an older apartment that is impossible to cool down. Even with air conditioning it’s sweltering in the summer. Having the air conditioning and fans running all day long really dries out my room. I bought this and put it on my nightstand and it has done wonders. I love that it blows cold air and moisture at the same time. It definitely only cools down a small area, so it’s not powerful enough for a whole apartment or anything. But for a bedroom or just right next to you it works perfectly.

   This is a wonderful personal air cooler. I even get cold and I live in a humid climate. Very quiet so I can have it near me when I watch TV. It's a little pricey but worth it. Also, you have to be very careful not to spill water on the motor but funnel they provide works well. Only uses 7.5 watts with USB cable connection. I highly recommend!

   So far this is working well. I have it on my bedside table as my hubby is too cold when I lower the a/c too much so this solves the problem. I have it facing straight on so it doesn’t blow on him. I bought 2 from a different company last year but if you moved them at all the water would spill out. This one DOES NOT DO THAT !!!!! The funnel makes it easy to add water. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but working great!

   I gave this product 4 stars overall simply because of the maintenance... for the air to be effectively cooled, the water in the tub needs to be pretty cold. This does the trick (refer to my second picture): use refrigerated water and ice cubes in the tub- both with Brita filtered water (to prevent mineral buildup). Unfortunately the ice packs that are included don't cool the water in the tub enough to feel a noticeable difference in the air temperature, so I use ice cubes.

   I purchased this to put on my desk at the office for times when I get warm. Yesterday, our AC at home went out and in Texas, it's extremely hot. I opened this package and sat it on my nightstand, it helped to keep me cool. Of course, I slept with no covers, the ceiling fan going and another floor fan going. But at least the circulating air in our room wasn't hot air, it was cool due to this little gadget pumping out cooler air. I'm happy to give you five stars for giving me a comfortable evening with an AC outage going on.
