I then got this kit - it arrived in 24 hours. The instructions are clear and the kit easy to use. It has successfully repaired the star-chip so that one can only see it very feintly if one takes a close-up look. Also, it has eradicated the crack on the outer half of the windscreen but not extended to the inner half - nevertheless, a great improvement. I can recommend the product.

So the search began. I landed here because it most closely resembled the one I'd used with great success. After not having aligned my crack with the tool correctly, mostly due to my lack of height, I got on a beer crate and tried again. Success, all terribly easy and quick too. Off to cure in the sun for 10 mins, a quick final scrape and mum is over the moon. Recommended yes indeed. All I will say, is don't pull the repair bottle tab off with your teeth, I had a little try of it and it's not so tasty!! Other than that, I'd buy again in a heartbeat.
