I have five dogs the all have this tracker. Fast and reliable. Well made. Wonderful customer service and technical info.
EXTREMELY water resistant. Stress resistant too. One of my dogs is a Neapolitan mastiff 100lb puppy, another a one year old bull dog. Then there is a Pitt bull a Blue Tick and a little terrier mix. They all have jaws with a tremendous torque and they have teeth. They play rough. Their trackers have resisted beatings no postal worker leg could withstand. The little terrier had an argument with a skunk. The skunk won. The tracker’s plastic absorbed the odor and the tracker was replaced for free. Another time the Pitt bull’s tracker fell pray to Max the mastiff. That too was replaced. The ONLY WEAKNESS are those plastic straps that attach the tracker to the collar. My dogs destroy them but I found a quick fix for it (see photos). I would like to see the company integrate the tracker to a leather collar. I would not mind the price. I used a couple of different companies before a found this gem. I would use nothing else. Kudos!

I did a lot of research on these products. So many different types of services, prices and functions. I want to be able to use this on our 10lb cat as well as our dog. It is not the smallest unit on the market. But, from what I can tell, the cat doesn't notice it. It works! It really does! We live in a wooded area and I can accurately find her every time. Ok, once it showed she crossed the street and she obviously didn't, but it corrects itself as soon as it catches a signal. I'm impressed. I did a lot of research and this seems to be the best functioning unit with all the options and reasonable pricing. Good luck! My cat Osa loves being outside adventuring now! It gives me the peace of mind to let her roam a bit. I just set up the virtual fence and that is going to be great for the dog when he roams further. This product is worth looking at. Do your research but after all my digging this seems to be the best.

After I lost my dog for 5 days and nights I began my search for a GPS tracker in case this was ever to happen again. I purchased a Garmin device that was probably good, but not for my needs. I wanted something more for running with my dog on trails and it was just way too bulky for everyday use. Then I purchased a Fi collar. Let me just say that it was a joke. Not only did the collar fall off my dog on a run, but the tracking was useless. I couldn’t even use the service to locate the collar even though I had good coverage on my phone. The app was terrible on so many levels as well. Then I purchased a Tractive collar and I have to admit that I was skeptical especially for the price, but it works great. I can’t believe how good of a product it is and I would have happily spent more money. I’ve been using it for a few week now and the GPS has been super reliable and the app is great too. It actually works for you instead of forcing you to use it how the company wants you to use it like the Fi. It shows where you are in proximity to the collar unlike the previously mentioned collar and it has an on/off switch as well. The app has what you need and not a bunch of unnecessary information that I feel is pointless if you just want to be able to find your dog. So if you are looking for a collar that is priced right and works great get a Tractive collar.
