But that was not the case. I put a fairly heavy load (me) on them while twisting them in amd they set just fine. The device makes a buzzing sound for two seconds every 30 seconds. When out of the ground its kind of annoying. However when in the ground it isnt really noticeable. My dog doesnt seem to mind them as well.
