The buttons on the remote seem a little primitive and require deliberate, dead-center action, but that's a minor complaint, and is not a problem after you get used to it. The light hum of the fan motor is perfect white noise for sleeping at the lower speeds, and really isn't very loud at the higher speeds. The airflow is steady at all speeds, and easily felt across a normal-size room.

The remote control was a cool idea also. It has been everything they said it would be. A lot more air movement than my old fan that was the same size and a major brand name. I would say it is a good value for the price. As far as longevity goes, only time will tell. My gut says it will go longer than the 2 years I got out of my other fan.
