It looks exactly as the pictures present it; and its presentation is very nice and sleek. I just received it in the mail about 30 minutes ago. I tried it on my arms and stomach. On level 3 it feels warm on the skin; and It actually feels nice. So, what I have learned: you have to count to 3 in between flashes, instead of pressing the button over and over. So you press the button, wait 3 seconds, then press again... I'm very excited to see my results. I have fair skin, with dark brown hair; so this should make me the perfect candidate. I will keep you all updated!

So I pretty quickly turned the unit up to level 5 over 3 sessions, usually 1 session a week. (I started at 3 to make sure my skin wouldn't have a reaction.) Even on the highest setting I felt no pain, no burns, and have only had the slightest sensitivity (similar to a slight sunburn) that lingered on my arms for maybe an hour. I've had no issues on my legs, biking, or armpits. I have quite a few patchy spots on all areas now. Most hairs are noticeably thinner than their few larger neighbors. I am pretty fair skinned, freckley, and have dark blond/brown hair on arms and legs.

It was not painful at all but at the 4th and 5th setting there was a bit of a heat sensation but didnt hurt and it doesn’t happen with every flash. I did try using the razor provided but it was dull so I used my own just to be sure. I used the glasses as directed and didn’t apply anything to skin beforehand. My skin was not red or discolored after using it. I’ve only done it once and will keep up with it for weeks to come to get the desired result.
