Way better product for the money than the same lamp by Westminister. I ordered two - one from Sensory Education and one from Westminster. This one came securely packaged and worked perfectly. The other one had no protective packaging; just a thin plastic sleeve and not surprisingly was broken upon arrival. My daughter loves this lamp. The fiber optic strings are pretty as well as the "crystals" in the bottom. You're not getting a super high quality item, but for the price, it's perfect.

I wanted a battery powered fiber optic light. This one is okay. The light isn't very strong and not as visible in a daylight lit room. The base also had a crack in it when it arrived. It arrives in a bubble packaging that doesn't protect it that well apparently. Anyway, it's an okay lamp for the price but it's not great. It doesn't work as well in my classroom as I had hoped.
