I like that you can keep the light on, turn it off, or have it auto turn on as you clip ( because Kitty likes to chase the light). The blade is sharp and easy to use with a protective cover. The cutting action is not scissors-like that twists the nail but rather is guillotine-like that does not twist at all. Trimming my dogs nails with the PetiCare is not longer a test of wills between me & her. I liked this product, however, I do think there's room for improvement. The flimsy little magnifying glass/trimming catching piece is not really of any help. It doesn't stay in place and just gets in the way I think. Also, the position of the light is something to rethink. The light should be aligned so that it hits the nail/claw at the right angle, in order to be useful. The whole purpose of having the light is to be able to track and see the quick. If the light isn't hitting the nail at the right angle for you to see, then it's useless. Overall, I think it's a decent purchase, and would recommend.
