There is plenty of adjustability to accommodate. I ordered the XL for our 90-pound dog and it’s borderline too big. And if you’re using this harness long-term on a shorthaired dog, you might need to add additional padding to the rear belly band. I grabbed a fleece seatbelt pad and it works well. Without this harness, our dog wouldn’t still be with us. Thank you.

It lets us pick him up with no discomfort for him. Much easier than before we had the harness. It lets us help him when he gets wobbly. The only thing to be careful of is when helping him pee. If you don’t have it in the right position( pulled back and towards his groin) it can get in the way of the stream. Other than that it is fantastic and easy to put on and remove.
