   This night binocular works well. It sees well in the dark without the illuminator, but once you turn on the IR illuminator, it REALLY lights up the scene. The IR light has different power settings. The high setting allows you to see 200-300 feet. No kidding. The only downside is that this unit doesn't have a zoom lens. But, it does say "binoculars", so you get what they advertise. 8x power is pretty powerful. The image isn't HD quality, but it's still very clear and you can see pretty much everything you need to. The body feels like a robust quality. Very nice night vision for the price.

   I purchased as an early heist as gift for my husband. He went on a mule deer hunting trip in November 2020. He was super stoked when these arrived. He opened them in a hurry, put the batteries in and jammed outside to see if he could see the animals around our property. Yep!! He said he couldn’t wait to use them out in the field. He said they worked well and he was able to see deer with the night vision goggles from across the acres and acres of land. The pic quality is very good. Glad he was able to use them right away. It’s almost impossible to keep secrets. Definitely worth it!!

   To answer a couple questions you may have... The zoom is not variable, its not like a scope. It just zooms in on what you see on the screen if that makes sense. Definitely watch their youtube button/menu guide, because getting used to what each button does starts off a little difficult, but once you get the hang of it. (i did in one night) Again, you will absolutely love them. I leave them in my truck. They go everywhere I go.

   I ordered these and the monocular also by the same company and let me just say, I am totally impressed with both. Easy to set up, easy to find your way around even in the dark, and the image quality was crazy good compared to some other brands of night vision I have used. Although today was the first time I ever tried them out around my house outdoors, I can't wait to put them through a full range of tests in the field. Great job!

   I really haven't a chance to use them but I did check them out when I received them today. Every review that I read on these particular binoculars was great! I also watched video on YouTube and they couldn't say enough good about them. I'm sure I will get great pleasure from them too. I actually bought them more for my boyfriend as he does a lot of coyote hunting and he's real excited about using them. I will use them when I go out deer hunting too. I also was able to see my husband walking out across a field at a good 1300 feet out. If he had walked further out ion the field, I would not have had any trouble seeing him. Excellent for the price.
