I got the red one for my Aunt grandaughter so while I was ordering the red one I also brought one for my Aunt son=in-law. He is a preacher and does a lot for the church and alway visiting the elderly at the homes, visiting the sick and does a lot of work around the church. So I told my Aunt I ordered one for him. My Aunt said know you don't have to do that but I said I got somethinf for yourdaughter and two grandaughter, so I think that he needs of these helicopter. He was supprise. So her grandaughter and son-in-law had both been playing witht them all morning. He may be a preacher but sometime they have more to bear so I thought that this would help him get throught some tough days. Way to go Gryo. A good little helicopter and a good price, fast deliver a great product.

Holy cow, this thing is fun to fly! This thing is great for those willing to work through a small learning curve. The hardest part of using this helicopter is getting the battery charged. You have to make sure the helicopter power switch is in the "OFF" position while the control power switch is in the "ON" position. The trim is easy to adjust and works like a charm. I've flown this probably half a dozen times so far, and it is very user friendly as long as you already possess hand and eye coordination. The only downside to this heli is the short battery life. A 45 minute charging session yields around 5 to 6 minutes of flying time. The USB charging function didn't work very well, I think the wires in the USB were loose. I have noticed that as the battery comes close to losing it's charge, the trim adjustment becomes very ineffective. Once that happens, you have about 30 seconds of battery life left.

I won't delve into the details but this is my 2nd one I have and I just love it. The first was an el cheapo one from JCPenny. It was not stable and I had to be using another control to keep it from flying clockwise/counter clockwise all the time. It was too busy to control that with one crash, it went kaput. This 109G just seems like a charm. Very, very stable so that I can focus on flying. It is not that fast either so it gives more control especially for a novice like me. If it your first time, I highly recommend you give this a try first. It crashed a couple of time and still going strong. Hope to have it for sometime to come.

As others have noted, the Syma indoor copters are pretty sturdy. It is fun to fly indoors and easy to control. Purely by accident, I discovered just how resilient the little copter is while flying it around the room and not noticing my cat stalking it. Flying only a few feet off the ground, it passed his hiding spot. He jumped from cover and promptly swatted it out of the air...hard. Once the shock wore off and my laughter stopped, I checked the cat and the copter. Both were unharmed and functioning properly.

We picked up this helicopter for my son who is turning 7. With a little coaching, he and his 8 year old sister are able to fly it, but it's still challenging them to make "small moves." It's just the right ratio of difficulty to success to keep them working at it. The 40-50 minute charge time and 5-6 minute flight time are teaching them patience. While it's pretty tough, it's not indestructible, so they are learning to be careful (not hyper) around it and to keep their little brother from destroying it. We've had several crashes and collisions with ceiling, furniture and the little brother, and so far it doesn't even have a scratch on it. (The little guy didn't even complain too much.)

I've purchased probably close to a dozen different indoor helicopters and this one was by far my *favorite*. It doesn't have that many moving parts and it's solid plastic making it great for all of the crashes it WILL (I repeat, WILL) endure. When I found this one online and ordered it I was amazed at its stability and resilience. I've since purchase two others as they do eventually break or the batteries stop charging but it's still the best helo' I've purchase or played with. I even purchase one for my eight year old nephew last xmas and the whole family loved it. It's amazing how such a little, inexpensive toy can bring so much life to the party.

When it warms up we'll get to take it outside and play with it, but we couldn't wait so Christmas morning we charged that puppy up and played with it in the house. My son had never flown a helicopter before so it was crashing into walls, nose diving into the floor, at one point it had found a balloon and gotten tangled in the string! It's still going strong. I unpackaged this copter just a little over an hour ago and it charged rather fast using the USB connection to my laptop. It was actually under an hour so watch until the yellow USB plug's end turns red. I do have another copter that is also easy to fly but this one looks realistic in detail and is somewhat smaller. I wish it were a 2.4 Gigahertz like my other copter but it still seems very responsive to the controls with no lag. This is worth every penny as long as the battery holds up. I strongly recommend taking the advise and suggestions in the manual about how to charge a battery properly. I always wait until the battery cools down after I fly it. Usually around 15 to 30 minutes. I have gotten long life out of my other copter's battery by using this technique and have flown it dozens of times and it still shows no loss of battery life. This is a fun toy for anyone wanting to actually be able to fly an RC heli. I bet my wife could even do it! :)))

The Apache AH-64 is a very nice and easy to fly helicopter. It appears to be well built. The controls; collective and cyclic, are intuitive and the airplane responds immediately to control inputs. Flying outside is risky because of the sensitivity to any wind however slight, and the short range of the RC controls. Maybe it needs a better antenna for receiving RC signal inputs.
