   I have torn ligaments in my Left shoulder, but I sleep on my stomach with my Left shoulder under me. As you can imagine, this is very painful and causes a lot of numbness in my shoulder. I saw a sleeping system that looked very bulky and cost hundreds of dollars, and I wasn't quite ready to go there yet - so I searched the internet for something else and found this pillow. It works! It is pretty small, and I wish it was wider. However, it is just enough to balance my head on for sleep and it gets the job done! I put a regular pillow case over it that I wash - so it keeps it clean. The memory foam is nice, just the right support for me (I don't like squishy pillows with no support). I am very pleased with this purchase!

I get great neck support, and it also keeps my arms and shoulders from compressing and going numb at night.    I bought a satin pillow cover and sewed it in half to fit this pillow. It stunk the first 2 days, but it's fine now. I even took it with me on a trip. Works great to stick your arm through, but I also invert it and sleep with it cradling my neck. Then as I tend to roll from side to side for old hips, it rocks and supports every position. This was a GREAT find!

   I picked this pillow because it was the only one advertised as having its own cover, which is important. Anyway, it does what it's supposed to do and is very comfortable, perfect for sleeping on one's side although possibly a bit too big for comfortably sleeping on one's back without a period of adjustment. I haven't tried any other pillows of this type to compare it against, but this does what I was looking for it to do when I purchased it.
