A couple of cups of water in a shallow pan or dish. Add enough dishwashing liquid until the water feels slippery between your fingers very important. Wet the windows. Make sure the squeegee side of the tool is vertical on the glass. The bottom end of the squeegee must be angled slightly away from the direction of travel. My first attempt was not very successful. Not enough dish liquid. The dish liquid acts as a lubricant. I just love this thing.
