They make noises when you hit though which is fun. Light up is good in the light and super fun in the dark. Very happy with them.

   I bought these for my girls who are really into Star Wars. The smile it brought to their faces was priceless. They swing it around and it looks really cool in the dark; best when really dark. Honestly, the blue is much brighter than the green. The sound FXs are great, particularly the power up/down sound. There is a hum while on. It would be much better if that secondary button with the weird "clashing" sounds was not there. My girls found it annoying. It's not "heavy-duty", so if anyone is going hit something or each other, it will probably break quickly. Anyway, for the money, these light sabers were well worth the price. I wish they had one in red.

Cant carry it like a flash light, you have to keep pressing the buttons for it to stay on. Set of two was nice in case one broke but it has lasted just fine so far.

   These are better than the real thing! Super durable! Got them for my boyfriend for Xmas and we are still enjoying them! Glad I didn't spend more on name brand just to be too worried they would break to really use them. All the other actual star wars stuff I got him is still in the box for "collection" purposes.... super lame... what is even the point? He opened these right on Xmas morning and has been playing with them ever since... which in my opinion is the point of toys. These were the cheapest and best thing I got for him (in my opinion) :)

   So very very cool, especially outside after dark. The adapter used to attach the two together into one unit broke fairly quickly but other than that they have held up fairly well. After 6 months one saber has a couple LED's non working. It's still worth it to get.
