   While I can't speak for the longevity of the product, as I've only had them for about a week, I love the quality so far! The sounds are excellent and just the right volume for play and costuming. The glow is excellent, even in full daylight (though the blue does look a bit purple in full daylight, it is VERY blue inside and in the dark.) I would definitely buy this again, if necessary.

   Excellent product. The only one I found where you can connect the two sword to become a staff. The sound effect of opening and closing the sword is spot on with star wars sound. It sounds also when the swords “hit” each other or the other kid -making it somewhat dramatic. The little drawback is that sound is the sound of a metallic sword. I just suggest to make it closer to the buzzing sound of laser sword in Star Wars. I guess there might be trademark issue that is why manufacturer changed it. Nevertheless, it’s good. I also suggest to have a red color version and make a AA battery fit if possible for longer playtime. Excellent product better than Disney version. It was an instant hit when my kid brought it to school. With regards to durability, I will update if it stands my 6 and 3 yr old kids in the long term.

   My 2.5yo daughter has recently become interested in Elena of Avalor, who wields a sword. Thus, we parents needed a set of swords to play along with her. These are a great value! They arrive well packaged in a tube. They have 3 modes of different light and sound patterns. They actually make the swishing sound on impact, so you don't have to make them yourself, although, that's a tough habit to quit haha. They come with batteries installed, and they can connect at the bases to make a double sword. We've had them for a couple months now, and hit them a moderate amount, and they seem to be holding up well. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and solidness of these swords and hope they will last.

   This light saber was purchased for our Great-Grandson's 4th birthday. It was not expensive, was shipped very quickly, and the batteries were included!. He loved the two sabers the moment they were unwrapped and they were an instant hit with both the boys and girls in attendance. The feature that connects the two light sabers into one, like used in the movies, were a definite plus and then some. The sound and lights impressed the birthday party group and helped make the gift the Grandson's favorite. Money well spent!

   It came in FOUR days early for starters, and even better the swords are very aesthetically pleasing and even though I use them more for collectability, I did duel with my brother for fun and they held up unexpectedly well, not even a hint of damage (and you know how sibling fights can be, especially when they're big star wars fans quoting RoTS while fighting). Also they look beautiful when combined - I always wanted a double bladed lightsaber. The hilts fit nicely in my hands. I don't particularly like the sound effects, but I'm pretty sure I read that you can turn them off. With or without the sound effects its still an excellent product, definitely worth the money especially considering how disney is charging 200 dollars for lightsabers now. Just get this instead, save your money!

   Our child is into SW and this was the best gift for Xmas. The sound is similar enough to the lightsaber, at least for a 5 year old. The battery lasts about 1 week of daily play for about an hour+ Replacing the battery is not hard, you need a small screwdriver and AAA replacements. You know that the battery is dying since it won't light up in daylight either. It's very bright when you have fully charged batteries. Also, play gently with these. Treating it like a wooden stick will quickly break the integrity of the plastic and the dents cannot be undone. good product!

   These held up really well and were a lot of fun. They did break after about 5 of months but very understandable with how hard my son and I played with them. I was able to fix them a couple times by soldering the wires back on and putting some duct tape around the base where the light connects to the handle. I was very happy with my purchase and would purchase them again. My son and I had so much fun with them when the lights and sound were working and we are still having fun with them without the lights and sound.
