We were getting new furniture and I decided to fix this before giving it to a family member. You can't even tell where the whole was! I had no clue how well this would work and wished I would have fixed it a year ago when it happened. I just used a blanket to cover that spot. When we delivered it, I challenged my family memeber to find the whole and it took 10 min! I'd say that's pretty good! It's not perfect by any means but you literally have to run your hand across it to find it.

It does take overnight to dry, but so what. Put the stuff on one day the next day its dry. The bench is well used for storage and on occasion extra seating. 3 years no problems. The shoes are worn regularly no problems. I am looking to buy some more for a new project because after 3 years the compounds did dry out. The kit doesn't cost that much so I don't mind.
