There are two different light therapies - the red increases circulation and cell repair in order to boost collagen and reduce fine lines. The blue purifies the skin, is good for acne and eases inflammation. You can use a moisturizer or serum under it to help it glide. Overall I totally love it! I also think it would be a great gift.

This laser actually works for tattoo removal. The red laser only works on black tattoos, and it is a long process to get real results. You should expect to end up using the laser once a week or so for atleast 10 or 12 weeks before really seeing results. After the first few sessions you should see some fading, especially on lighter lines and shading of your tattoo. Heavy dark lines will take many treatments to begin fading. You will also have some trail and error with getting the adjustments on the laser right for your specific needs. If you use it on for too long on one spot, or on too high intensity, it will burn and blister. Even with all these difficulties it is absolutely worth the money compared to how expensive peofessional tattoo removal is.

A friend recommended it as he was using one it to remove his tattoos, so I ordered the red laser. Unfortunately, I did not realize there was a blue laser until after I purchased it. The red laser is only for black tattoos, while the blue is for all colors. It is working good so far, just doing a little at a time. The pen is not the the most comfortable thing to hold, but not all too bad. The beeping is about the only thing I don't like about it. It is on the loud side and is a bit distracting... not just for the user, but everyone in the house.
