The seat does have 2 straps to help with snug adjustment fitting. The cup holders were easy to attach. All in all, I have a tall/long child, already 4 feet, and weighing 42 lbs. and this seat has been a great upgrade for him. He seems more comfortable and the seat seems very safe so far.
